The Practical Nursing Program is approved by the Ohio
Board of Nursing which supervises and regulates nursing practice and
education in the state of Ohio. The school has been in existence for
over 50 years and has had consistent success.

nursing home facilities, especially as the baby boom generation
ages.

Our School of Practical Nursing offers important
distinctive qualities for prospective students to consider, such as
outstanding graduate success on the the state board exam, excellent
employer satisfaction with graduates, and IV Therapy included in the
curriculum. Our expert, personable nursing faculty provide
outstanding individual and group support and diverse clinical
experiences to gain competency in nursing skills.

met prior to acceptance into the program. Textbooks and uniforms are
an additional cost and not included in the program cost. A list of
required textbooks will be provided during orientation. Additional
fees include: uniforms, duty shoes, stethoscope, uniform
accessories, parking at some clinical sites, and Board exam fees.

Students must meet required scores on the TEAS test.

Test of Essential Academic Skills
(TEAS)
Nursing candidates are required to take the Test of
Essential Academic Skills, which tests Reading, Math
and English skills. The content of the test is at the
level of a high school graduate.
TEAS Test Dates
All TEAS Exams take place at ACE, 2323
Lexington Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43211. Please
arrive at least 1/2 hour prior to start of test.

Candidates must register for the test
prior to the date of the test by creating an ATI account
at
www.atitesting.com.
By creating this account, an ATI ID number is issued.
The cost of the TEAS is $55, payable by
check or money order at the time of test registration.
You may register for the TEAS Test in
person at the Adult and Community Education Center or by
mail using the
TEAS
Test Registration Form. The ATI ID number is required
for test registration.
