Practical TIPS for the practical needs of the everyday office

Think you know Word, Excel or PowerPoint? Many of us use these programs every day, but do not know some great tips and tricks that could save us time as well as make our jobs both easier and more enjoyable.

Do you know in Microsoft Word there is an easy way to rearrange paragraphs instead of highlighting text and dragging it to a new location? Want to quickly add folders of photos into your PowerPoint presentation? Would you like to add a head or footer into an Excel spreadsheet with the press of button?

Each seminar offers practical knowledge. Each participant receives a full-color Course Booklet which contains exercises covered in the course. We’ll finish each course by introducing websites that continue to expand computer knowledge.

Attendees also receive FREE CD which contains over 70 pages of Word files which contain listings of free web resources such as Free Photography, Free Sounds and Music, Free Computer Training and more.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Pam Newsome teaches the Office Systems Specialist Program for the Department of Adult and Community Education and is an Adjunct Instructor at Columbus State Community College.

Pam also has over 20 years of experience in graphics. She conducts seminars for local businesses and non-profit organizations. Some of her clients include:
