Customer Services

For students entering Adult Workforce Education courses, the Customer Services office provides career counseling and short-term personal supportive services. Information and referral to community resources and long-term assistance are also available.

Transitional services for currently enrolled
full-time students include training and assistance in seeking employment, resume writing, interviewing skills, and counseling
on general work ethics and other
employability skills..

Admission

 

Any adult, 18 years or older, may apply for classes. A high school diploma or GED is required for acceptance into some programs. Persons holding a diploma from another country must have their education translated into U.S. equivalency. A list of companies providing this service may be obtained from the Customer Services Office. Please check the course description for pre-requisites or special requirements for each course.

Weather Emergency/Closings

If the Columbus Public Schools are closed for snow or other emergencies, our adult classes will not meet. Check local broadcasts for school closings.
